E-HERO 3
Development Completion: Q3 2023 As Taiwan’s electric vehicle (EV) market experiences rapid growth, the lack of accessible charging infrastructure has emerged as one of the key obstacles preventing potential car buyers from switching to EVs. Many individuals, despite having the intention to purchase an electric vehicle, are deterred by the fact that they are unable to install private charging stations in their residential communities. There have even been cases where EV owners who installed charging facilities at their own expense in community parking spaces were ordered to remove them and fined by building management committees. This highlights the gap between modern mobility needs and outdated infrastructure, which remains a major challenge to the widespread adoption of EVs. Community associations are often cautious due to concerns over electrical safety, aging buildings, and potential overload risks to existing power systems. These structural constraints significantly limit the flexibility and feasibility of deploying fixed charging solutions. If left unresolved, these issues could prolong the transitional pain of the green mobility shift and become a bottleneck in the pursuit of sustainable transportation development. To address this pain point, DARA Power strategically leveraged its internal group capabilities—spanning engineering design, software development, high-voltage power technology, third-party payment integration, and EV charging systems—to launch an innovative solution in 2023: the E-HERO Mobile Charging Robot. The E-HERO robot is equipped with a high-capacity 70kWh battery and delivers rapid charging performance, capable of supplying 1 kWh per minute. It is also embedded with an active anti-theft alert system that can immediately detect and report incidents such as impact or tipping. This solution not only effectively meets EV owners' on-demand charging needs, but also significantly reduces the cost and complexity of installing fixed charging infrastructure. By enabling flexible power delivery and introducing the concept of mobile shared charging, E-HERO creates a dual benefit—optimizing both economies of scale and household-level accessibility.
