Intelligent Autonomous Mobile Forklift System

1. 2D LiDAR SLAM positioning and mapping module: Use 2D LiDAR sensors for simultaneous positioning and mapping (SLAM). This module is capable of positioning vehicles in unknown environments and simultaneously building a map to determine the exact location of the vehicle and its surrounding environment. 2. Path planning and tracking module: Responsible for planning the best travel path based on the target location and the distribution of obstacles, and tracking the vehicle’s trajectory in real time. This module needs to comprehensively consider factors such as the vehicle's dynamic characteristics, environmental terrain, and mission priorities to ensure that the vehicle reaches its destination safely and effectively. 3. Vehicle-mounted decision-making control module: Controls the movement behavior of the vehicle, including speed, turning, acceleration and deceleration fork height and other operations. 4. 3D smart cargo status detection module: A 3D ToF camera is used to perform non-contact measurement above the fork, and the 3D smart cargo status detection algorithm developed by the team is used to determine whether there is an object on the fork. This solution upgrades the original one-dimensional detection area to a three-dimensional detection area, solving the problem of being unable to accurately determine the unloading situation because the detection area is too small, thereby reducing the handling risk of the AGV system.
