To stabilize the quality of fork assemblies and improve production efficiency, plans for developing an automated assembly line began in 2021 and production was officially launched in 2023. The main goals of this project include the following: The production capacity of the automated assembly line is 30% higher than manual assembly. Process parameters are controlled through the SCADA system. Equipment sequence can be flexibly adjusted to accommodate new product process requirements. The fork assembly process is divided into three main stages: Mate Process, External Tube Process, and Main Process. This project uses the automated assembly line to replace Mate Process and Main Process with the overall equipment development focusing on modularize design and robots, vision system, and servo systems. For the automation of the assembly line geared towards new product processes, Rockwell Automation's QuickStick servo system is used as the transfer unit of this automated line. This system is designed to enhance the efficiency and flexibility of manufacturing automation, precise control, modularize design and easy installation and maintenance.
